Eventronic adhesive heat shrink tubing is an easy to use solution for insulating and protecting wires, cables, connections and components. It can be used in a variety of of applications: marine and automotive wiring, outdoor and home repairs, RC hobbies, or giving your phone charging cable a second life.
This is a moderately stiff dual wall heat shrink tubing with the internal adhesive layer. It is 3:1 shrink ratio tubing, which allows it to be used in significantly more applications compared to 2:1 shrink ratio tubing. When heat is applied, shrink tubing recovers and the internal adhesive layer melts. A small fillet of clear adhesive (about 1 mm wide) becomes visible at the end of the heated tubing. When cooled down it forms a rigid seal. Heat activated glue strongly adheres to wires or any other surface. This heat shrink tubing assortment comes organized in individual compartments to keep things neat and tidy.
This industrial grade heat shrinkable tubing is compliant with all relevant electrical standards such as: SGS, RoHS, Reach, and ISO9001. This wire heat shrink tubing is flame retardant.

Is the diameter on each tube the original size (pre-shrinking)?
Yes.Size is before shrinking,3/32 shrinks to 0.8mm. 1/8 shrinks to 1.1mm. 3/16 shrinks to 1.6mm. 1/4 shrinks to 2.1mm. 3/8 shrinks to 3.2mm. 1/2 shrinks to 4.2mm. 3/4 shrinks to 6.0mm

Can this be used to join two tubes together? Does the glue just seal the ends or the entire tube?
If the tubes and the heat shrink tubes fit snugly after heating them I'm sure it would work well. This is very durable heat shrink, thicker than most. Keep in mind also, it's 3:1 shrink. Glue throughout the tubing.

What is the max temperature on these heat shrink tubes? Can I put it in the car engine bay?
Operating temperature: -55℃～125℃.They can be used in an engine bay.

where is this made ?
Our heat shrink tubing kits are produced in China,but I can say after using these on a number of projects and boat rewiring they don't leak or seem to be affected by oil/gas/saltwater,and they've held up over time which is all that matters.
